Homebound Instruction

Students receiving Homebound Instruction are considered present for attendance purposes. Tutors shall be provided for a maximum
of five hours of instruction per week for any student who will be absent from school for an extended period of time. An ‘extended period of time’ is defined as a minimum of two weeks absence, which is ten school days. The earliest Homebound Instruction can begin is on the eleventh school day of absence. Before application for Homebound Instruction is made, the attending physician must complete the following form:
