The descriptors that follow illustrate the exceptional qualities sought in those nominated for a Franklin Regional Excellence Award.  Other outstanding descriptors may be used as appropriate.

Creativity		An individual/group that demonstrates exemplary creativity.
Modeling		An individual/group that is emulated by others and whose expertise motivates those with whom he/she/they has/have contact.
Goal-Driven		An individual/group that consistently establishes, achieves and surpasses goals and in so doing makes an exceptional contribution to the school setting.
Problem Solver		An individual/group that contributes a significant solution to a district problem
Consensus Builder		An individual/group that builds on the needs of others and in so doing fosters team building and goal achievement.
Leadership		An individual/group committed to excellence whose expertise and leadership helps the members of the school community surpass their expectations.
Service		An individual/group whose outstanding service and generous donation of time and/or resources results in active promotion of the school district.
Achievement		An individual/group that shows exemplary achievement in academic, athletic, cultural, leadership or other areas which benefits the school community.
Communication		An individual/group with outstanding communication skills and who makes a major impact on others.
Nurturer		An individual/group that demonstrates outstanding and sustained mentoring and nurturing skills and has used them to stimulate others to exceed their expectations.
