Administration

       I am excited to introduce myself to you as the new principal of Heritage Elementary. My name is Rob Buffone and I have been in elementary education for the past eighteen years. I graduated from Clarion University with a degree in Elementary Education. In the following years I went on to earn a Masters Degree in Teaching & Curriculum and a Technology Integration Specialist Certification, both from Penn State. Currently I am working on the completion of my Doctorate Degree through Temple University which is where I also received my K-12 Principal's Certification.

        As your principal I promise to continuously ask the question "What is best for students?" which will in turn guide the decisions we make at our school. Spending the past eighteen years in education, my philosophy is based on the belief that all students can learn, and that it is every staff member's responsibility to create a positive, inviting, safe school climate. I am anxious to work with everyone in the community and to support a student-centered environment as we start this school year together.

        I look forward to continuing the wonderful traditions at Heritage Elementary School that everyone has worked so hard to establish. Don't hesitate to call or email me with any questions!
