***Forms to order The Quill, Franklin Regional’s High School yearbook, will be sent home in November, December and January. Cost is $65 for a 300-page, full-color yearbook. All payments are sent directly to the company, NOT the high school.
Absence Excuse Procedure notification: All excuses must be received within three school days of the student’s absence; excuses submitted beyond that date will not excuse the student’s absence.
NOTICE-NEW HIGH SCHOOL ABSENCE AND EARLY DISMISSAL PARENT EXCUSE FORMS: In order to expedite and increase the accuracy of our student attendance records, handwritten excuses will no longer be accepted. Beginning November 17, 2008, the following form must be used for absences and early dismissals.

CELL PHONE REMINDER FOR STUDENTS AND PARENTS!!!
Students may keep a cell phone in their locker, bookbag, etc. They may not take the phone out during school hours to use it, text, take photos, etc. If they are caught using the phone during class, study hall, restroom, locker, etc during the day, it will be confiscated and RETURNED TO PARENT ONLY. In addtion chronic cell phone use will also result in school punishment. If there is a dire emergency, student are required to come to the office to ask permission to use their phone. We also provide a free phone for students to use in the office.
***Cafeteria News… There is a great way to pay and monitor what your kids eat at the cafeteria. I highly recommend using the online mealpay program. The web site is www.mealpayplus.com – it’s a convenient way to pay for your child’s lunch and to figure out what they eat. Continued success to Metz, our food service!
