Feasibility Study/Building Conditions Video


The following videos explain the District-Wide Feasibility Study, which led up to the decision to enhance the existing Sloan Campus to create a comprehensive elementary campus consisting of one primary and one upper elementary school.

Part 1 of this video series explains the need for capital improvements across Franklin Regional's family of schools and why now is the appropriate time to engage in this process This video also takes you on a guided tour of the existing facilities and shows the structural and physical plant issues that have necessitated this project.

FR in Focus (Episode #4)


Episode #4 of FR in Focus shares insight to how the educational process was the guiding force behind the elementary campus project. Unlike other projects in similar school districts where the construction came first and the educational process was developed later, Franklin Regional created a comprehensive educational plan that includes components such as Project Lead the Way, Discovery Education, the National Math + Science Initiative (NMSI), and STREAM (science, technology, research, engineering, arts, and mathematics) to create a world-class learning system for all students.
