We are happy to have you as a part of the Franklin Regional family and wish you the best.  Let us work together to help your children with the language and their school experience in Franklin Regional School District.

Four FRSD ELLs win Three Rivers TESOL Poster Contest- "Adapting to Change".  They are Joey Chen (gr.10), Cyle Black Eagle (gr.7), Lennart Koehler (gr.4) and Jake Lin (gr.1).  While all the students from Franklin who entered the contest did an excellent job, these four students' posters were chosen as the top exemplar in their age group (K-2,3-5,6-8, 9-12).

 WELCOME!
It is the third nine weeks!
We have finished the ESL ACCESS test.  This test is required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to assess the language proficiency level and progress of each ELL in programs for ESL/Bilingual instruction statewide.  We should receive results at the end of the school year. In the meantime, students' work loads are increasing. Please check their planners to help students keep up with their work and their daily activities. We will also begin planning our end of the year ESL Family Night for an evening in May.  Look for more information by the end of March.
